Generally, I am pretty happy with the virtual keyboard on my iPhone. I would not say it is perfect, but the lack of a physical keyboard helps keep the phone thinner, for that I prefer the iPhone the way it is. That said, I do think a hack that allows you to use the Apple Bluetooth keyboard with your iPhone is a neat trick. Of course, it may not be very practical, but still cool to see.

So, what we have here is a Flickr video that appears to have the Apple Bluetooth keyboard connected to the iPhone. According to the post that goes along with the video, the setup uses a “packaged application” and requires your iPhone to be jailbroken. Sadly, the packaged application remains nameless, and in turn it brings a little skepticism about the accuracy of the video. In the meantime, check out the video below and judge for yourself.

Again, assuming this is the real deal, it is cool, but like I mentioned earlier, it may not very practical. After all, who wants to carry a large keyboard with their small iPhone. If I wanted, or needed that I would just carry a small notebook.
