Coming this past weekend, the DevTeam have released a currently unsupported jailbreaking option for 2nd generation iPod touch users. This tool can be found by visiting redsn0w.com and should only be attempted by more “experienced” users.
Currently redsn0w is only available for Mac users, and it does require the user to use the command line. Bottom line, read the directions and if you are even a little unsure, then I would suggest holding off until a simpler, GUI-based version becomes available.
