More information has surfaced in regards to China Unicom offering the iPhone 3G and thankfully is seems like it may actually be available shortly, of course we have already seen numerous reports that claimed a deal was close in the past.
It was just yesterday that the iPhone 3G was spotted on the China Unicom website, and now it seems like that listing may soon come with an available status and a price tag.
The latest saga in the story is coming courtesy of TMCnews who are reporting that China Unicom has “confirmed” that they will begin selling the iPhone 3G on May 17.
After all the negotiations I can only hope that the iPhone 3G receives a warm welcome in China. I would hate to think that China Unicom would have wasted all that time negotiating a deal only to not have the iPhone sell.
