As promised, ibisMail has returned with an updated version of their email client for the iPhone. This new release brings ibisMail to version 1.0.1 and comes complete with a very long list of “fixed problems” and an apology.
I do give the developer credit, they are acknowledging the issues and seem to genuinely care. Taken from the description on the App Store listing they have stated that they are “sorry that ibisMail doesn’t work properly.” Of course, they are also asking the users to keep them aware of any problems that are still around.
That said, lets hope this new version solves the troubles that we have been experiencing. If you are interested in seeing the complete list of changes hit the ibisMail link below, but like I mentioned earlier, it is very long. Personally, I have not yet had a chance to test out version 1.0.1 for myself, so at this point I am just hopeful.
Additionally, ibisMail is still priced at $0.99.

I still can’t get it to connect with my work email over IMAP.

It has been a while since I have messed with it, maybe I should add it back and give it another shot.
