Apple apologizes for ‘Baby Shaker application

Baby Shaker, a $0.99 application has been removed from the iTunes App Store after many apologies from Apple.

The premise of the game is that the user must endure the wailing baby’s cries for as long as possible before shaking the iPhone/iPod Touch to make the baby stop.

The application was removed from the App Store on Wednesday, after receiving a colossal amount of disapproval from the iPhone/iPod Touch community.

According to the Associated Press,

“Apple spokeswoman Natalie Kerris said Thursday that the game was “deeply offensive” and said it should not have been approved for sale.
“We sincerely apologize for this mistake,” Kerris said in a statement.”

Check out a video of the application here (morbid right?)
