Apple releases iPhone 3.0 beta 3 and new SDK to developers

Apple releases iPhone 3.0 beta 3 and new SDK to developers

It has been several weeks since Apple released the second seed of the 3.0 beta to developers, just yesterday, the third seed was released. Additionally, Apple has also released a new SDK build, full notes regarding this build can be found here.

The following is an excerpt from Apple technology blog, World of Apple.

Apple has this evening released beta 3 (build 7A280f) of iPhone OS 3.0 due for release in the Summer.

Of note in the latest seed is that Apple advises developers, “Applications targeting devices prior to iPhone OS 3.0 beta cannot be tested in this seed. This bug is intended to be ?xed in a future seed.”

Changes to the iPhone OS 3.0 beta 3 will not become apparent at first.

Also bundled with iPhone OS 3.0 beta was a new SDK build, seed notes accompanying the SDK can be seen here.

As you can see above, Apple has made no visible changes in this seed of the 3.0 beta, for reference, the last 3.0 seed was released March 31st.

It’s quite clear that Apple is quietly developing countless new tools for both developers (SDK) and mass consumers in general (3.0,) I must say I am quite excited to see what the future has in store for the iPhone!

I was a genius and bricked my iphone 2 days ago and was stuck until i found the website that i linked to my name above, just click on my name to go there. They had me up and running in no time and i now have complete access to their Apple developers account with my own user ID and password. It was worth it, just my 2 cents for anyone who is in the same boat i was.
