Evernote updated to version 2.0; now with landscape mode, thumbnail view and more

Evernote for the iPhone has recently been updated to version 2.0 and with that comes a few very nice features, and just like you would hope for with a 2.0 release, I would say these new features could be considered major improvements.

So what can we expect? Well, Evernote 2.0 has added some speed improvements, a landscape mode, thumbnail view, the ability to sort your favorites and an embedded browser. Additionally, a few other smaller updates were also added which include improved accuracy for geo-tagging notes as well as “a nip here, a tuck there.”

The Evernote team has also given us just the slightest tease (without actually revealing anything) about what we can expect when iPhone OS 3.0 is released.

“Like many of you iPhone fans out there, we’re very excited about the recent iPhone 3.0 news. We have lots of ideas for ways to take full advantage of all the new capabilities. Stay tuned.”

So far, so good, Evernote has served me well up till this point and remains as one of my favorite apps. I look forward to seeing what it brings in the future.

I have been using Evernote for almost a year now and I have to say it rocks. The iPhone app has been great too. Highly recommended.
