Google brings Ninjas to the iPhone
April 30, 2009 | Robert Nelson

Google has recently offered up a new version of their Google Mobile App and with it comes an interesting list of new features which includes Ninjas and a longer version number. Based on that, it would appear that at least one Google employee has a good sense of humor.
While entertaining, thankfully the update also included some actual improvements. Other new items included some speed improvements when searching by voice as well as support for British and Australian English accents.
Unfortunately, like all good Ninjas, these guys are nowhere to be found. I am thinking, OK, more like hoping that they may be some kind of easter egg. Either way, now more people (with varying accents) will be able to enjoy searching by voice.

Hmm… You mean you couldn’t be bothered to Google “Google Ninja” and find out what this technology is. It is after all a technology and not a but of humor from a Google developer. I came here via a Google search, hoping to find some more information than what I already had, or at least, the same information I have read elsewhere. Sadly, I found neither.
