What do you get when you combine a simple typing test with a high-speed rally car? Honestly, I am not really sure, but it is entertaining. Anyway, in the video, Rory Reid of Crave TV goes for a ride and attempts to type using an iPhone and also an Eee PC. The typing test consisted of the phrase;

“The quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dog”

The results on the Eee PC consisted of;

“THISn QUICC BDE4 FROCCDX HJUNOE OV4E3DR TTHJREV N V DOGTG”

The results on the iPhone consisted of;

“The quick fox jumps over the lazy dog it so”

Thankfully, and not all that surprising, the iPhone came out on top. I do say thankfully, because it would appear that the Eee PC that was used was a 701, and anyone that has used that model can attest to how hard typing (even sitting still) really is due to the small keyboard.

Of course, it probably goes without saying that the iPhone and its auto-correcting text helped out quite a bit. Either way its all in good fun, check out the video below.
