Earlier today Apple released a new version update for iTunes, updating it from 8.1 to 8.1.1.

iTunes 8.1.1 adds support for renting HD movies and provides a number of bug fixes, including addressing issues with VoiceOver and syncing with iPhone or iPod touch.

As with any Apple software update, Mac users can manually check for this update by going to the “software update…” tab under the Apple icon in the top left corner of their screens. PC users must utilize the “Active Apple Software Update” program bundled with iTunes to update to 8.1.1.
