A newly released app will allow you to use your SlingPlayer Mobile app on a 3G connection. Of course, I think this goes without saying but this one is limited to those who are willing to jailbreak.

The app is already available for download from Cydia and is called Tricker ThreeG. As you would imagine, it does just what the name implies, it tricks your iPhone into thinking that you are on a Wi-Fi connection when you are really on 3G. Basically, just install the app and you are ready to stream when and where you want, as opposed to when and where AT&T tells you that you can.

This app, which was also noted as working with Skype and Fring is similar to the voipover3G app that I mentioned a few weeks back. Well, must wrap this post up, because this app means I am now willing to spend my $29.99.
