Cingular was better and that is the reason I still have original iPhone and refuse to upgrade to 3g or 3gs. I agree with those who don’t like AT&T. Anyway, they are ready to handle mms, but there is just a problem where they have to go into each account manually and take off some type of block code so we can use the feature. It's coming guys, I heard around July. Cingular bought out Att but kept the name. AT&T is slow to support it because they can't charge for it and it eats bandwidth. Their service is already horrible, why put more stress on the system with people texting pictures of puppies to all their friends? They know they have a captive audience with the iPhone and can get away with it, so they do. Money is the answer…What’s the question?

The coverage I got from Cingular was great, prices were reasonable, as soon as AT&T bought them out, I dropped calls like crazy, I couldn't have a conversation, since things have improved some. However, I will be glad when Apple is out of this marriage with AT&T, it will interesting to see what happens once there's some competition involved. AT&T should be giving refunds since we are paying for a feature that cannot be utilized ! Personally I don’t think AT&T is half the company Cingular was. We have been using mms since before the iPhone existed and yet we're waiting for them to turn it on. I find this very sad. There is absolutely NO (acceptable) EXCUSE for this. AT&T had plenty of notice about mms coming to the iPhone. It's not like they just found out last month. I'm betting they're just not prepared for the hit the servers are going to take. Think about how many new subscribers AT&T has acuired in the last two years who are iPhone users. On that note, I've had my iPhone 3G since launch and I have never been able to get 3G speeds. I'm already mad enough that I have to pay $30 a month instead of $20 because of 3G, yet I've never been able to use it and have just had it turned off. MMS is part of the family texting plan I'm on. Others on my plan can use mms with their razrs and now even though my iPhone is capable, I still can't. I believe that they could have easily had mms ready by now, they must be holding off for another reason.
