Apple has recently updated the How To section for the iPhone, which includes several articles and videos of iPhone 3G S specific features. Cool stuff, although personally I would rather have the new iPhone in my hands, but in the meantime I will take what I can get.
Of course, the how to section also includes numerous other articles and videos that review features that are for the iPhone 3G as well as the original iPhone.
And speaking of new features, I am looking forward to the Nike+ support that will come with the iPhone 3G S. I have always been against running with my iPhone, part because running is my escape, but second because I am afraid any sweat will damage it, but may have to reconsider. Interestingly, the Nike+ icon on the iPhone 3G S will only display when the app is turned on in the settings, which will be nice for anyone who will never use it and do not want to have to look at an unused icon. Maybe Apple should offer something similar for others such as Stocks and Weather.
Additionally, it was interesting to check out the Compass feature section which let me know that “the accuracy of digital compass headings may be negatively affected by magnetic or other environmental interference, including interference caused by the close proximity of the magnets contained in the iPhone earbuds.”
