Remember earlier this week when I posted an article [link] reporting that Apple had posted an online 3GS “availabilty database”? Back then, only 5 Apple retail stores were sold out of all four iPhone models.
Fast forward to today, and only about 40-45% of all Apple retail stores have all four iPhones in stock and 15% of stores are completely sold out.
According to MacRumors,
“Three states are currently listed as being entirely out of stock of all four models: Alabama (two stores), Oregon (three stores), and Utah (one store).”
If you’re interested in buying an iPhone 3GS, I would suggest you either go out right now and get it (check the database first,) or wait a week or two.
