iPhone OS 3.0 ready and available

As expected Apple has made the iPhone OS 3.0 update available for all to download and install a little earlier today. Nothing really to note on that other than if you have not already updated your iPhone then head on over to iTunes and get ready to enjoy some new features.

Once you are in iTunes just click the “Check for Updates” button, then sit back and wait for the upgrade to do its thing.

As for availability, original iPhone as well as iPhone 3G users can download the update for free. On the other hand, iPod touch users will have to pay $9.95 to get iPhone OS 3.0.

As for my personal iPhone, despite knowing that I am going to lose my jailbreak status and end up missing a few items such as my five-icon dock I have decided to upgrade now, but more on my experience in another post.

As for your experience, feel free to hit up the comments below and share the good and bad.

I LOVE the fact that so many jealous/annoyed people scream about ignoring the iphone 3gs, just keep the iphone 3g and wait for the next next one. Why? The 3gs is much better if you are into games, and why get the next next one? Or the next next next one? Surely it should be done to an individual appraisal. I might get the 3GS just to piss people off who have a 3G, and go on about how much FASTER it is every day, while you play with your OLD OLD SLOW SLOW 3G hahhahahahaha. I wont though, because I dont care about games, and my 3g is fine. BUT ITS SLOW AND OLD COMPARED TO THE 3GS.
