Apple are probably now working on the replacement for the iphone 3Gs so keeping us wanting the next upgrade. I have just bought my first Macbook and I will get my first iphone soon.. its easy to breakdown the cost of building the iphone,but if you wanted to start and build an iphone yourself the tooling alone would run into millions of dollars alone,then you have design and development.
