The iPhone 3GS’s fingerprint-resistant screen

I’ll keep this short and to the point (my way of saying that there’s only so much to be said about the iPhone 3GS’s screen.)

Many of us (myself included,) have overlooked the fact that Apple has begun coating their new line of iPhone’s, the 3GS, with an oleophobic coating. This coating makes the phone’s screen more resilient to the oily residue left by greasy fingers, and makes cleaning the iPhone a much easier task.

While this may not seem like major news (which it’s not,) many iPhone users will be happy to hear that their iPhones will no longer be covered in fingerprints (something that can end up being quite distracting!)

No it’s not major news but it’s good news to me. I often find myself cleaning my screen every 5mins.

This is good. Like Matthew’s mention above, hate to see those fingerprints on my iPhone.
