As if you did not remember, and have not already checked iTunes a few times, today is the day that we can expect to see iPhone OS 3.0 released to the public.
Personally, I have hit the “Check for Update” button in iTunes a few times already, that said I did not really expect it to actually be available at this early hour, but hey, I can hope.
Of course, even if it were to have been available I am still up in the air as to whether I am going to update today or wait until the jailbreak is released. While I have been moving away from jailbroken apps for the most part, there are a few that I am still holding on to.
In the meantime, head on over to Apple and check out the iPhone 3.0 Software Update page and think about all the cool new features that will be coming with 3.0.

If i load OS 3.0 Does anyone now if you can still Jailbreak ? Cause i am getting the impression you need to load the new software from cydia which is on a jailbroken iphone?

Hey Kev,
Once you install 3.0 you will lose your jailbreak, so be patient and make sure an updated version of QuickPwn or Pwnage Tool are available before you update to 3.0.
That said, I am looking for those myself, so rest assured, I will write a post when they are available.

Hi all…I tried to download and got a message that the server timed out. My phone has an iTunes Icon on it with a USB cable below it. I have closed iTunes and tried to update again, but now, where my iphone info used to be is just a blank white page with iPhone in the middle. Any ideas on how to fix it? I have a useless phone at the moment!

You have to plug your iphone back in to the computer. you have to restore from your back up it is on your computer you just have to find it

stereo bluetooth not working correctly for me. it discovers my bluetooth speakers, however, it does not show any way to use them. i tried playing music and the music continues to play over the iPhone’s speakers… Anyone have any ideas? Is this a Apple mess up?

for the Bluetooth you have to turn off the iPhone restart it and try again. my imuffs work but I have to control them from the phone and not the headset like I did before when I had to use that piece.
