While many have been complaining about the higher than expected price of the iPhone 3GS, there is at least one carrier that has some nice prices. Italian carrier 3 has recently announced their iPhone 3GS pricing, which starts as low as €99 (about $140 US).
It should be pointed out that these prices do require you to sign a contract, but that said they seem to be low enough to make a contract seem a little more inviting.
Anyway, the iPhone 3GS will be either €99 ($140) or €199 ($280) for the 16GB model and either €199 ($280) or €299 ($420) for the 32GB model. There is also an option to buy contract free, however as you would expect, that will be priced a bit higher at either €599 and €699 for the 16 and 32GB model respectively.
Additionally, 3 Italy is also offering the iPhone 3G which is available for free with a contract.
