Apple and China Unicom reportedly reach agreement to bring the iPhone to China

According to a recent Shanghai Securities News report, it looks like the seemingly never ending saga between Apple and China Unicom has come to an end. Sure, we have seen reports that suggested this before, so we remain skeptical, however it looks like it will be a three year exclusivity deal.

These reports note that the deal does not include any revenue sharing and that Chine Unicom will be paying Apple 3,000 yuan (around $439 US) for each iPhone with a guarantee of 1 million to 2 million in annual sales and at least an annual revenue of 5 billion yuan (around $732 million US).

Of course, at this time neither Apple nor China Unicom have officially offered any confirmation. If you ask me, these details seem realistic, but I am not going to believe this one has come to an end without seeing something a little more official.
