Apple releases new iPhone 3GS commercials

Just recently a few new television commercials for the iPhone 3GS have begun airing on television and as you would expect they are highlighting a few of the new features.

The first offers a glimpse of Voice Control, the second shows off Cut, Copy and Paste while the final video demonstrates the ability to record and easily share video.

Overall, these features may not be all that exciting or ground-breaking for geeks, however we have to remember that these television commercials are aimed at what I would refer to as the regular user and from my experience they seem to be working, which unfortunately may end up costing me a few extra bucks.

The Voice Control commercial has been enough to convince my wife, who previously hated the iPhone, to reconsider. Additionally, the ability to do basic edits and easily share video also seems to be a plus for her as well. Currently she is using a BlackBerry Bold, which does record video, however it cannot edit, nor can it share it quite as easy. In other words, at least in my opinion, these commercials seem to be pretty effective.

Anyway, if you have not already seen these ads on television, then head on over to Apple.com and check them out.
