Those of you that may have missed out on getting a Google Voice app before they were all pulled from the App Store may have a second chance. Of course, that second chance does come as a little bit of good news and bad news.

Lets start with the good news, GV Mobile is currently available for free, which is down from the original (App Store) price of $2.99. The bad news is that your iPhone will need to be jailbroken because the app is only available in Cydia. That said, despite that the app is available for free, donations are being accepted through the developers website.

Its a shame to see this app, along with the other Google Voice apps removed from the App Store, but at the same time it is also nice to see at least one remain available — even if the potential user base is a little smaller.

Anyway, in order to grab GV Mobile, just launch Cydia on your jailbroken iPhone and search for GV Mobile.
