GV Mobile is not the official Google Voice app. A private develope rhad it pulled from the AppStore and then put it on Cydia.

It does work very well, though.

You can find this app in cydia. Hats off to Google for puting this program into the cydia.

I have been on the fence about jailbreaking my Iphone but if Google would distribute their app through the cydia app store, my decision would be made for me.

This is retarded. The only thing I can see Apple getting pissy about is the visual voicemail. And on that note, AT&T is probably the one that is actually getting pissy.
They allow Skype and other VOIP apps, but pulled everything dealing with Google Voice? Especially after it was talked about in the 3.0 announcement? Retarded -period.
AT&T has screwed their customers repeatedly, and I can guarantee that when their exclusivity ends, their customer base will abandon them like rats from a ship. Their stock will drop and their customer base will take a HUGE hit. When that Happens, Verizon will be the Single LARGEST carrier in the world.
Now if they start nickle and dime’ing their customers when they get their shot, that might be a huge blow to apple, because no one is going to take it after fleeing AT&T for those very reasons.
