Another day, another set of apps that have been updated. This morning I awoke to find that eBay Mobile (and I would imagine others) has received a welcomed update.
The update brings the app to version 1.4.0 and is noted as being “optimized” for iPhone OS 3.0 and as you may have guessed that means it now has Push Notification support.
The notifications will include pushing details for both outbid items as well as watched items. Other new features include integrated Pay with PayPal support, recent detailed seller feedback, description search and the ability to search for completed items.
As it has been, eBay Mobile (App Store link) is available as a free download.

Thanks for the update Robert. Unfortunately useless when you live in Japan. Absolutely ridiculous that the app, and many others is not available in the Japanese iTunes store. And I can’t access any other iTunes store because I live in Japan. Just nuts…Any suggestions??

When I downloaded the app I clicked no on push. Now I would like to enable it. How can you enable the push on the app?
