Remember back to that earlier rumor regarding the 8GB iPhone 3GS, well it turns out that it was entirely false. This latest information comes despite those leaked internal screenshots as well as the evidence that later appeared on the Rogers website.

In terms of the Rogers website ‘evidence,’ it seems that someone at Rogers was just getting carried away when they were adding those little blue checkmarks. Anyway, the official word has come by way of a Rogers spokeperson;

“You’re right, there is no 8GB 3G s iPhone. There is a formatting error on our website. It is being corrected asap”

Basically, it looks like those who may have been waiting and hoping to score an 8GB iPhone 3GS can resume their purchase and make a decision between the currently available models.
