Recently, by way of the Brightside Twitter account (@Brightside), a rumored launch date of the TomTom GPS Navigation app for the iPhone has surfaced. As of now, it is important to point out that this has not been officially announced, however it certainly looks like September 22 will be the date.
“Dear Journalist,
“TomTom will reveal the future of navigation to you” on Tuesday, the 22nd of September (from 10:30 am until 2 pm) … Save the date!
More information to follow soon!
Warm regards,
The TomTom PR team!”

Hopefully they are delaying the app to try to figure out how to make it cheaper. Really. Come on guys. You can get 2 stand alone units for the cost of the app, and answer your phone without having to restart.
