Apple has recently added a new section to their website, its called “Apps for Everything” and just like the name implies it seems determined to prove that there truly is an app for just about anything you may want or need.
Simple and to the point, according to the description “once you discover the App Store, you’ll see how applications can make your iPhone do just about anything.”
This of course goes on to get broken down into nice categories which include apps for cooks, the great outdoors, music, work, students, moms and dads, working out and many more.
Overall this seems to be a move in the correct direction, but cannot help but wonder how these apps are chosen to get featured in these categories. Sadly though, with a little browsing around, they seem to offer apps that I have seen featured by Apple in the past.
The one part that bothers me is that this needs to be pushed and promoted over on the App Store. A quick look showed nothing there, which is a little disappointing because I would think that most people would head to the App Store as opposed to the Apple website to try and discover a new app.
That said, if nothing else this can serve as a nice place for any current iPhone geek to show to a friend or family member who is not quite as tech savvy. Heck, given how browsing the App Store is not as nice as many would hope, I may start checking here to see what goodies I can find.

Hey, thanks for that link to get the free gift card for toys from Kmart, I tried to use it but its only open to those in U.S.A. which sucks because my mom got hers in 3 days in the mail, but she lives in Denver.
