In a move that makes it seem like we are going to see some new iPod’s later today, Apple has quietly lowered the pricing on most of the iPod lineup as of this morning. So far what we can tell from the Apple website (which appears to still be in the process of being updated) is that the iPod nano, iPod Classic and iPod touch have seen price cuts.
- iPod nano: 8GB for $129 and 16GB for $149 (down from a starting price of $149)
- iPod Classic: 120GB for $229 (down from $249)
- iPod touch: 8GB for $189, 16GB for $249 and 32GB for $279 (down from a starting price of $229)
As of now the Shuffle has remained at the original $79 price point.
