Just a quick little post for anyone that may have been considering picking up an iPhone 3G — AT&T currently has a special on refurbished models.
The offer is listed as being available “while supplies last” which means it may end at any time. In terms of pricing, the 8GB model is selling for $49 and the 16GB model for $99.
Anyway, for those interested, you may want to check to see what if any models are still available in your area, you can do that by visting the AT&T Find a Store page.
Finally, this should almost go without saying, but in order to get these prices you will need to sign a two-year agreement.

Is there any way to get an iphone with an existing AT&T account? I am told when I log on that the phone advertised by Apple and by AT&T for $199. will cost me $399. because I am not eligible for a phone upgrade at this time!

Anybody that has an iPhone should sit still because without a dougt there is going to be some big changes nexts yr. Because the 3Gs pnone was a disaster
