We all remember the classic arcade game of the past, Frogger. But today if you want to take a walk down memory lane you have to wonder deep into the dark back room of a vintage arcade to get your Frogger fix. The game is almost an exact clone of its counter-part from the past. The goal is simple yet challenging. You are a frog and you want to get from here to over there. So simply hop on over right? Wrong! Prepare to face eighteen wheelers, unidentifiable vehicles of destruction, raging waters and more in this action packed adventure! Ok so maybe it’s not as scary when your looking at the game from a 2d style point of view. But would you really want Frogger any other way? All you have to do is move up, down, left, and right to avoid traffic. Once you pass the highway you have to cross a river. Hop on turtles, logs and friendly alligators to reach your way to the safety of the other side.

Why Frogger needs to be there I don’t know. But it makes for a fun game and entertaining way to pass time. This application offers various levels, however they’re virtually all the same and just made to look different. None the less its still fun! The controls are what brings the game to a new level. You have the option of three different control shcematics. First, a simple tap in the direction you want your little amphibian to go. Second, slide touch your frogger to safety. And for those steady handed adventure seekers out there, try out the tilt controls. That’s right, tilt your device to move your frog! However, I found the touch tap movement scheme was the most beneficial and least frustrating!

All in all you want the high score. So hop until your legs fall off and be weary of rush hour! I would recommend this game for fans of vintage arcade games and for those people looking for an addicinting game to use in class or at work. For the sale price of $1.99 buy it quick while it’s cheap!
