Napster will not be offering an iPhone app after all

It would appear as if the previous rumor in regards to an iPhone app coming from Napster was true, but in a disappointing end, that app is no longer being developed.

It seems that Napster has decided to stop development due to high licensing fees. According to a report coming from mocoNews, a rep from Napster stated that some iPhone streaming apps are being subjected to $15 fees.

Instead they are going to shift focus and are rolling out a mobile site that can be found at http://m.napster.com, but unfortunately that mobile site is not going to allow music streaming. Instead any visitors of the Napster mobile site will only be able to preview or purchase music.

Disappointing news, but hopefully we still have the Rhapsody app to look forward to in terms of a subscription based music service for the iPhone.

*Brush up your resume: Make sure that you take the time to put together a great looking resume. Remember that you are no longer in the military so when listing your skills you need to be sure to list them in such a way that the potential employer will understand. For example, if you were a platoon leader in the military, then you would list that skill as the ability to oversee and manage others.

I think that it would have been cool to have napster on your iphone but, itunes sales could go down and I'm sure apple dosen't want that.
