It’s the game responsible for sweeping the iNation. Pocket God can be found on iphones and iTouches through out the entire world. But for those of you who aren’t familiar with the game what is it? Well it’s precisely what the name implies. You are the god of a tiny island in the middle of the ocean. On the island is a colony of little, dumb pygmies of which you control their fate.

The island comes with a few standard features such as a palm tree and stone tiki head. But you, as God, have the option to add everything from a meteor to more pygmy inhabitants! But that’s just the beginning of the fun. Once you’ve customized your island paradise, or hell,  you can start using your godly powers. You can set the weather and time of day to instill fear into the hearts and eyes of the island natives. Now grab your tool bar and start checking out all the option.

You as God, can summon lighting, fling your pygmies into the heart of a volcano, feed them to a blood thirsty shark, shake the very grand they stand on and more! To strike your pygmies with lighting just tap the lighting bolt. Then charge it up by making circles in the clouds. Next, choose your victim and draw a line from the clouds to him or her. Then watch as your pygmy lights up like the fourth of July! You can also pick up your pygmies and fling them! Pick up your next victim and fling it. With the right aim and practice your pygmy will land directly into the bowels of the volcano in the background. Get three pygmies in the volcano and you win a prize! What’s the prize? A fountain of liquid lava that covers your island and your surviving pygmies! Another awesome way to end your pygmies suffering is to either dangle them over or throw them in the water. If dangled the right way a giant shark will jump up and grab onto their delicious bodies. But if you can’t get it just throw them in and watch them drown.

The graphics for this game are amazing and you can tell they’ve had a lot of work put into them. But that’s not as good as it gets. Play the game with sound and the experience turns from awesome to phenomenal. You can hear your little pygmies making all kinds of silly sounds while they’re being tortured. Think you’ll get bored? Well luckily the game comes with a weekly or every few weeks update. So who knows what new features the developers will dream up.

The game comes with an unbelievable price tag of only $.99. I would recommend this game for anyone who wants to have fun or become God! (of a small tiny virtual island!)
