Wacky Wordfest: Wordabble Game Review

Do you consider yourself a word wizard? Probably not. But you can get fast on the track of training to become one. But how you ask. Well you don’t have to go to some fancy school in the middle of now where! You can now train your mind and enhance your vocabulary directly from your iPhone or iTouch. Simply download the new word game Wordabble! From Fusion Bay.
At first glance, Wordabble may seem like your ordinary typical word search puzzle. Wrong! Leave those word search puzzles to the kindergartners, and jump into the challenging, intense, and addicting world of Wordabble. In this game the goal is to find as many words as possible, but it’s more complicated then that. The letters of words aren’t lined up! That’s right, you spell words completely out of order. As long as the next letter in the word is either next to, under, above or diagonally related to the previous then you can spell a word.
So each puzzle can literally have over 100 words in it! You might be searching for days or months trying to complete the puzzle. As if that wasn’t complicated enough, you may have never even heard of some of the words! Unlike most word games that use a more simple dictionary as a word database, Wordabble uses a large, complex dictionary in which there are thousands of words you most likely can’t define or even spell! Unfortunately, this means the average Joe will never finish a puzzle. But that doesn’t mean you can’t have fun trying! And if you need a little help or boost to your self confidence, you can always rely on the hint feature.
The game is attractive and makes for ease of use. You tap the letters you want to make a word of in the order of the word. If you’re right you score points, if you’re wrong you look foolish (don’t worry no ones watching). Once you think you’ve had enough practice in either the marathon or timed session of the game, give the competition option a try. Now your score is recorded and compared against Wordabbles all over the iWorld!
I would recommend this game for anyone who relies on their iPhone to pass time. It’s a great game and it’s good for the mind. With a price tag of $2.99 it might seem a little high. But I’d say it’s worth the price.
Verdict: 4.5/5 Stars
