As of yesterday Apple released the latest update for Apple TV, which for those with an Apple TV brings you up to 3.0. Additionally, Apple also offered up the latest version of iTunes (version 9.0.2). And yes, for anyone keeping track that iTunes update did also break the Palm Pre syncing.

That aside, the Remote app for the iPhone and iPod touch was also updated. The reason was simple enough;

“Remote 1.3.2 provides bug fixes and compatibility with iTunes 9 and Apple TV 3.”

Seems like a must download update for iTunes and Apple TV users, that is as long as you have updated your other devices. As always, the Remote app was, and still is a free download.
