Apps that make me willing to jailbreak: mQuickDo

Once again I return with another app that I am willing to jailbreak to be able to use. This time the app is called mQuickDo and once again it offers more functionality for my lock screen. And similar to the Lock Calendar app, this is an app that I am actively using and have come to really like having.

To begin with, mQuickDo offers ALOT of features, and I will say that I do not use most of them, but even with that I feel the $7.99 that I spent is well worth it. Yes, you understood that correctly, the mQuickDo app is not free, but read on and trust me it is worth the money.

Some of the features of mQuickDo include the ability to create custom gestures that allow you to do things like lock your phone, take a screenshot and control the iPod. There is also a nice gesture that will allow you to quickly and easily switch between running apps without having to close what you are in first. Other features using gestures include being able to mute or hangup an active call.

With that, I am not really into all of the gestures, although in my limited testing they seem to work well enough.

Now getting to what I use mQuickDo for, I will say that I do occasionally use the app switching gesture, but for the most part I am digging it for the ability to have those five icons on my lock screen.

As you can imagine, those are apps that I use on a regular basis and ones that I like being able to launch without having to unlock the iPhone, move to the correct screen and then launch. Instead its one click from the lock screen.

You can find more information about mQuickDo over on the MCleaner website. I have also included some screenshots of the app below.
