The other day I mentioned the iGmail app for the iPhone and at the time I was happy with it. I will say that I am still happy with the app, but sometimes it is hard to really show why I am happy with an app in words.
With that, people often say how a picture is worth a thousand words, so I took a few screenshots showing off a key difference between using the web based version of Gmail and the iGmail app. Basically, in this case the picture may not say a full thousand words but they should prove that this app is worth $1.99.
Also, to address a few questions that I had received in the comments of the previous post.
do you know if this app offers any kind of push notifications or a badge update of any kind for new emails? and what about multiple gmail accounts?
No push support, or badge counts for new email. It is simply open to check, but that combined with a push system such as Growl it works well. It also does not support multiple Gmail accounts.
Finally, also as pointed out in the comments from the last post, this version does not support Google Apps, however that support has been added and will be included in the next release. Just to note, that release has been submitted and is waiting for Apple’s approval.

This is the same interface as accessing Gmail through MobileSafari with some extra gesture buttons on top. It’s retarded.
