For some odd reason, my entire iTouch is dominated by relaxation apps. One would assume that the app list of an average male teens iTouch would be filled with shooting games, dumb videos, and social networking yet mine is not. I love programs like Galactica and other relaxation apps. Well I found a new relaxation app that I also love, iZen Garden.

Have you ever been somewhere, maybe someones house or a hotel, that has one of those little table-top zen gardens, and you want to play with it extremely badly? But you don’t know whether it’s considered bad manners or not. There’s just something about the whole idea behind Zen Gardens that draws you in.

While now you can rake sand without having to worry about stepping on toes. That’s right, you can now get your very own personal Zen garden on your iPhone or iTouch! The app, iZen Garden, allows users to build, maintain, and enjoy their very own Zen garden.

For starters, you get to design you’re entire garden. Choose your sand and then add all types of features like: rocks, plants, fossils, shells, and even butterflies! To make the garden your own, you can choose the color of the sand, choose the shape of the rocks you add, and pick from a wide array of different plants and other features.

So where does the raking come in? While you can choose the size, width, and depth of your rake. It might sound odd, but this feature is extremely fun and addicting. Lastly, the app adds a soothing sound track to finish it off. Combine a serene garden with calm music and chances are you’ll be feeling good vibrations.
