Orange to begin iPhone 3GS sales as of November 10

We knew this day was coming, we had already seen the official announcement come back in late-September, however Orange has now confirmed that the iPhone will be available as of November 10.

Sales will include both the iPhone 3G and 3GS and customers will be able to make a purchase at any of the regular Orange locations as well as Phones4U. It was also mentioned that Carphone Warehouse would be offering the iPhone on behalf of Orange, however there has not been any official confirmation on that.

As of now, pricing information has not been released but it was noted that Orange would be looking to increase “value” instead of trying to undercut O2 in terms of pricing. Which to me sounds like you may get an accessory, or possibly a credit towards app purchases bundled in with your iPhone.

Carphone Warehouse will indeed sell it, as i got the following email from them this morning

“The iPhone that can do just about anything. The iPhone 3GS is the fastest, most powerful iPhone yet, with video recording, voice control, and access to thousands of incredible apps at the App Store – it’s also available on Orange from the 10th November 09 as well as our existing O2 deals.

If that’s not exciting enough, The Carphone Warehouse will be celebrating the launch with a number of great deals to help you make the most of your iPhone. Old phones, games consoles, MP3 players and Sat Navs – Trade-in† could give you
up to £150 for each one.

Simply register your details here and we’ll let you know the moment you can place a special priority order. saying i can register my interest and that they will sell along side the same O2 iPhone deals.”
