Back in mid-August I mentioned a new (at the time) photo sharing app called PhotoScatter. That original app remains available and is currently priced at $0.99 (down from the original price of $1.99), however there is also now a second version available for free.
Just a quick recap, PhotoScatter will allow you to easily upload an image to Facebook, Flickr, ShutterFly, PhotoBucket, Picasa and Twitter and as you would imagine that image can be new or existing.
As to any differences between the paid and free version, aside from the free version being ad-supported the description for the paid version notes it as being able to submit images faster and allowing for editable descriptions.
Basically it sounds like if you are going to be a regular user of the app you may want to go ahead with the paid version, but that said the free app should be a good way to try it out — after all you have nothing to lose.
My personal thoughts on the app are positive. I like the app, both in the free and paid version. As to whether I actually use it — no, but that is only because I rarely if ever want to upload an image to multiple sites. In short PhotoScatter works, and works well, it is just more than I need. That said, I would recommend the app to others.
