Adobe has recently released a little note that offered some details in regards to how many times their Photoshop.com Mobile app has been downloaded.
Adobe today announced that its Photoshop.com Mobile for iPhone application has been downloaded over 1 million times from Apple’s App Store, a milestone reached in less than one week of availability. Additionally, the application has held the No. 1 position for all “Top Free” applications as well as the “Top Free” application in the Photography category for 10 consecutive days. Thousands of iTunes reviews have provided Adobe with positive feedback, insight and suggestions that will be considered for future versions of the application.
It looks like Photoshop.com Mobile has seen over one million downloads, which is pretty good considering it has only been in the App Store for about 10 days. Additionally, those downloads have been enough to bring and keep the app in the top spot of the Top Free apps and Top Free Photography apps categories.
And these one million downloads have also come with the Photoshop.com Mobile app only being available in the US and Canadian version of the App Store. Of course, according to the posting, it was noted that they are working to make the app available in other areas but nothing was offered in terms of where or when.
Personally, I have been playing with the app since the release and have found it to be lots of fun. Granted it is nothing I could not live without, but for a free app it was certainly more than worth the download.
