Just the fact that you’re reading this provides some indication that you appreciate technology. However, and as Electronic Arts learned the hard way, sometimes technology can work against you.

While official word has yet to be released, EA inadvertently let slide a single screenshot of the popular video game Rock Band being played on an iPhone.

This single screenshot illustrated the game’s primary interface with four columns of descending notes and four corresponding guitar-pick inspired buttons.

Though much remains simply speculation, other desirable features such as four-player option over Bluetooth and full four-instrument involvement were seen in the capture.

Even before an iPhone verision, Rock Band has been very popular with video game fans, boasting sales of over four million units and global revenues of $600 million. Players have also made 30 million downloadable song purchases since the game’s US release back in 2007.
