We knew the update for the RssPlayer app was coming, after all we were teased several weeks back with the 2.0 release post.
Now, in a little bit of good news and bad news, we can tell you that version 2.0 is here and it has come with all of the good new features that we have expected such as push notifications of new podcasts. Additionally, the RssPlayer app also now offers much more in terms of the ability to search and discover new podcasts.
With that, we now have to move onto the bad news — the app, while approved by Apple has seen some trouble and has been temporarily removed from the App Store due to installation issues.
But moving on to a slightly brighter point, the developer is aware of this issue and is currently working with Apple to get it resolved. In the meantime, your can follow @iphonepodcaster on Twitter to get updated. Or, just keep following us here (or on Twitter) because this is one of my favorite apps.

It has to do a better job of importing podcasts that the last version.
