TwitBird Pro is one of those apps that I had purchased and ended up not using, only to later rediscover it after an update came down. Once that happened it became my go to app for Twitter, well that and now Tweetie 2 — but both are sitting installed side by side.
That said, one of the big reasons why I like TwitBird Pro is because of the nice integration with images. When using the app, if you click to view a tweet that has an image that image will be displayed directly below the tweet. In other words they have displayed the image and taken away my need to have to visit the actual image webpage.
That and, TwitBird Pro has a nice setup for those handling multiple Twitter accounts. Of course that is not where the features stop, for those still interested, you can check out the full feature over at 148Apps.
The best part is, well the best part for anyone who has not already purchased TwitBird Pro is that the app is now free, which has been lowered from the previous price of $3.99.

Thanks for the info, but after trying TwitBird, it’s back to Twitterriffic. It’s cleaner, and has great features. If it were $1-, I’d buy Twitterriffic Pro.

Glad to help, I guess everyone has their preference, at least you tried it for free though.
I will say that it did take me a little while to really settle in with it. Twitterific is also a great app though.

ever try twittelator pro? thats the one i keep going back to. it has one thing that no other iphone twitter client has: unread count. and it even counts down as you scroll up through your unread tweets.
please correct me if i’m wrong, however. i am open to other clients, i just LOVE the unread count.

Bummer, it looks like this was only available for a short while. It is always nice to get a solid app for free, but will say that even at $2.99 it is still a good deal.
