Belgium heist results in $3 million worth of iPhones being stolen

Just recently a burglar, or more than likely a team of burglars managed to cut a hole in the roof of a warehouse. A warehouse that contained between 3,000 and 4,000 iPhones, and that hole happened to be cut directly over those phones, which I am sure made it that much easier to take them away.

And to make this sound just a little more like a movie script, the burglars then lowered a fire ladder into the hole and climbed down to retrieve the iPhones.

Moral of the story, if you are living in Belgium or a surrounding area then you may want to think twice about buying a like new, or new iPhone from an unnamed source.

On the positive side, the carrier that were storing these phones, Mobistar have stated that they have the serial numbers for all of the iPhones that were taken. In other words, those thieves may have made off with around 2 million euros worth of iPhones, but they may have a slightly harder time selling them.
