Nothing is worse than an app that gets released and never sees an update. Now, don’t get me wrong I am not suggesting that I need a new feature added on a daily or even weekly basis, but over time little additions are welcomed. That said, one of my favorite apps, and one that helped me replace the iPod app on my iPhone will soon be getting an update.
That app is Bookmark and according to Twitter;
“Version 1.1.1 98% ready for submitting to Apple. You’ll all get backgrounding and smarter startups soon!”
Sounds good, but unfortunately while the app is almost ready to be submitted for Apple that just means we are going to have to wait for them to give their seal of approval. Still a smarter startup and backgrounding will be welcomed.
And although I am sure that I suggested it in the past, if you are a fan of audiobooks then the Bookmark app (App Store link) should be one that you check out. And if you are looking for a good listen, may I recommend two that I have just downloaded and am getting ready to begin, they are Endurance: Shackleton’s Incredible Voyage by Alfred Lansing and What Would Google Do by Jeff Jarvis.
