While browsing around and checking the various feeds the I follow, I found what appears to be a pretty nice iPhone (or iPod touch) accessory.
This little gadget is billed as the “world’s first foldable, portable, multi-functional and rechargeable power dock.” Now aside from that sounding like a mouthful, the P-Flip does appear to be pretty useful.
To begin with, this could sit on your desk and act as a dock to use with your regular charges and syncs. But the nice part here is that the P-Flip also folds down, which means it can be thrown in your gear bag for on the go use. And by on the go I mean that the P-Flip also acts as a backup battery and can offer iPhone users up to an additional 8 hours of talk time, 15 hours of video watching and 60 hours of music listening. Or a little more specifically, the P-Flip has a built-in 2000 mAh battery.
With that, this seems pretty nice, especially when you consider the price — $54.95. Of course, the fact that I read a review that offered it some praise does not hurt. As far as availability, the P-Flip can be found online at Dexim.net, but will also be available in AT&T stores as of November 22.
And just in case you were looking for the review I mentioned, that was done by Thomas, which you can find at the link below.
