DigiDrummer is a virtual drum set in the palm of your hand. The app enables users to simply tap on a drum to make its sound. For starters, the app rocks ten different themed drum sets that include, funk, metal and more. Each set comes with a snare, kick, toms, and cymbals so you’ll have the equivalent of an entire drum set all on your iPhone or iTouch.

The interface for this app is nothing short of extremely impressive. One, the app manages to utilize the majority of the devices screen ensuring no wasted space. Second, the drums are all laid out in an organized fashioned that allows easy access and precision tapping. Under each drum is the label of what type of drum it is. Use the arrows in the top right corner of the screen to cycle through styles.

The biggest question on every ones mind in an app like this is, hows the sound quality? Surprisingly, I can confidently say the sound for this app is superb. You can clearly tell that the sound was professionally recorded, with extra detail paid to the clarity and consistence.

All in all this is, by far, one of the most impressive apps I have see to date in the field of instrument apps. Now, I’m no professional drummer and I know little about music. However, I would call this an extremely good buy and I would recommend this app to anyone. At just $.99 you should definitely check this app out!
