FORE! Mini Touch Golf Game Review

FORE! Mini Touch Golf Game Review

On any given Saturday night, countless teens flock to their local mini golf putt putt palace for some cheap entertainment. For many of us, mini golf is a game that gives the untalented golfer a chance. Personally, I can’t handle the real game of golf, so mini golf is right up my alley. The tiny courses and silly obstacles bring a sense of fun to the game. However, the game can quickly become bitter when bad weather, poor sports, and expensive costs plague the greens. Well never fear, because all you need to play a game of mini golf is your iPhone and the Mini Touch Golf app, by Trythis.com.

Mini Touch Golf is exactly what the name describes, it’s mini golf using the touch controls on your iPhone or iTouch. The game is modeled after the popular online mini golf games that have swept the internet gaming world. As in a real mini golf course, each hole has a wild and wacky theme. Putt through windmills, haunted houses, castles and more. And each hole gets progressively trickier. For example, the first couple of holes start out pretty easy and basic, but the farther you go the more obstacles and tricks you’ll have to avoid.

One thing that really surprised me for this app was the graphics and over all play. It was obvious the developers invested a lot of time and effort into polishing the look of the game. Also, the game flowed and moved perfectly, the ball always went where I directed it to go. Furthermore, the touch controls for this game made it extremely fun and addicting.

The great thing about a game like this is every time you play it, it can be played a different way. So in reality, this game can provide hours upon hours of entertainment. However, one feature I wish I would’ve seen was the ability to pass-and-play or at least some type of multi-player game. All in all, for just $1.99 it’s a great game to check out!

Verdict: 5/5 Stars
