I work as an EMT in a remote area of north Idaho. ...um...yeah...it's a state. There are very few places with a Wi-Fi connection - my house is one of four that I know of. I'm looking for an application that would allow me to download a map (with street level views) for the entire county (or a large selected area). I'm also hoping this would be a searchable map. Does this app meet my needs? Looking for some clarification. I work as an EMT in a remote area of north Idaho. …um…yeah…it's a state. I am one of the developers who worked on this product and I can say that getting our product into the App store was not without challenges. One minor point of clarity is that you do not need an AOL account to download/use the app. You only need one to use the "MyPlaces" feature which integrates locations you saved on the website. Without it you can still get maps and directions and it will still remember your recent location. Also you can use your existing AIM/MapQuest or AOL mail account to get the "MyPlaces" feature. Thanks again for your kind description. I very much appreciate your highlights here.
