Mi-Fi app for the iPhone, iPod touch gets an update

As I have mentioned in the past, I have since given up on the thought of being able to (legally) tether my iPhone and have picked up a Sprint MiFi. Since that great day when it arrived it has come in handy in so many ways, and the recently release Mi-Fi app from AppsDen has made a nice companion.

That said, I had been, like other Sprint users, experiencing some issues with the Mi-Fi iPhone app. But thankfully, that app has been updated, now I will just have to do a little testing of my own.

Anyway, as to what was updated, according to the “What’s New in This Version” users can expect the Mi-Fi app to work with the “Sprint Mifi (first firmware), the Verizon Mifi first and second firmware (version 125 and 135) and on the Novatel Wireless MiFi2352 (European GSM version, first firmware).

I guess me being a Sprint customer it was a good thing that I have been a little lazy on the MiFi update cycle, because thankfully my MiFi is still running the first firmware.
